1. General

We respect your online privacy...and recognize the need for protection and management of any personally identifiable information.

Pardoo.com is an online auction site. Pardoo collects your data solely in compliance with applicable statutory regulations. This Privacy Policy describes all aspects relating to gathering information while you are visiting the Pardoo website, how Pardoo handle your personal information for our services and all further permissible uses of such information.

Any participant may use Pardoo at any time without the need of registering. However, in order to benefit from all features of the Pardoo auction service, or purchase of BidPacks, registration is recommended.

From every visit made to the Pardoo website, the Pardoo’s servers save data in an anonymous format - the relevant information being the website that the visitor was linked to us from, any websites that such visitor may proceed to from our site, and the IP address of the visitor at the time of his visit. As such, no personal data is associated with the visitor.

However, some personal information from you, as a Participant, is required in order to ensure that you may properly use the Pardoo’s services. Therefore, Pardoo asks you to accept that some personal data, as outlined in the section below, is collected by Pardoo and stored in our database. Should you not wish Pardoo to store this data any longer, you may revoke your consent any time.

At registration to Pardoo, will have to an individualized User Name and Password; with these to references, you are able to benefit from the entire universe of the Pardoo’s services. 

2. Data Collection

Personal Data means such piece of information as needed to clearly identify an individual person, such as name (surname and first name); address; date of birth; valid e-mail address; mobile phone number; etc. With your consent, as described in above section, Personal Data is collected and processed by Pardoo, in particular in connection with:

- Registration with Pardoo

- Purchasing of Bids, and the related payment handling with any Payment Agents (however, bank account and credit card data are only collected to the extent necessary for payment processing)

- Submitting of Bids

- Determination of the winning Participant of a single auction

User Data are such Personal Data as needed to identify you as the user, as well as pieces of information on the elements of Pardoo’s services the are utilized by you. User Data include the Pardoo User Name together with the associated Password and your IP address when you purchase Pardoo. User Data is collected by Pardoo only for the purpose to ensure that you can properly use and enjoy the Pardoo’s service.

Pardoo will store User Data only for as long as this is necessary in relation to any Bids you have purchased, any Bids you have submitted, and any single auctions where you may be the winning participant.

3. Use of Personal Data

Personal Data is needed for processing of shipment of auctioned items to winners. Bank account data coordinates or credit card data is needed for payment processing of such transactions where you are involved in as a party in connection with your use of Pardoo’s services. Pardoo will ask for your e-mail address so you can be contacted by e-mail, if required. Pardoo may also make use of Personal Data to communicate with you regarding delivery and shipment, to process single auctions, and to process other transactions. Further, Pardoo may use your Personal Data to inform you of marketing promotions, or to enable third parties authorized by us to perform technical, logistical, or other services.

Pardoo may disclose your Personal Information if Pardoo are required to do so by law or Pardoo in good faith believe that such action is necessary to (1) comply with the law or with legal process; (2) protect and defend our rights and property; (3) protect against misuse or unauthorized use of our website; or (4) protect the personal safety or property of our users or the public (among other things, this means that if you provide false information or attempt to pose as someone else, information about you may be disclosed as part of any investigation into your actions).
 
In addition, Pardoo may use your Personal Information in the aggregate to determine our customers' demographics and preferences. By doing so, Pardoo are able to deliver targeted advertisements on our website which you may find to be helpful and informative. 
 
Other than as stated in this Privacy Policy, Pardoo will not release your Personal Information to unknown or unaffiliated third parties, and Pardoo will not cross-reference your Personal Information with that of any other customer or entity.

All Personal Data is stored securely on our servers located in USA, which are protected by state-of-the-art physical as well as technological security devices.

4. Pardoo Newsletter

Upon registration to Pardoo, you may select whether you want to receive the Pardoo email Newsletter. This Newsletter will keep you updated on any new Pardoo functions, promotional events, or other interesting features and information from the Pardoo universe. You may unsubscribe the Newsletter at any time, by using the corresponding link in the Newsletter.

5. Third Party Access to Personal Data

Pardoo will forward your Personal Data to third parties only if and only to the extent necessary to process a payment transaction, delivery and shipment of auctioned items, or other relevant business transaction pertaining to the Pardoo’s services, where a third party service provider may be involved. Any such third party has agreed to strictly comply with the applicable privacy policy regulations.

Pardoo will not disclose any Personal Data to third parties insofar as you have not expressly consented to such disclosure, it is possible that due to judicial orders, or legal regulations, Pardoo will be compelled to reveal information to authorities, or third parties under certain circumstances, or in the case that third parties could intercept or access certain information or data transfers, then in any such cases Pardoo will not be held responsible for the revealed information.

Where Pardoo has knowledge that one of Pardoo’s employees or agents is using or disclosing Personal Information in a manner contrary to this Policy, Pardoo will take reasonable steps to prevent or stop the use or disclosure. Pardoo holds its employees and agents accountable for maintaining the trust that our customers place in our company.

Also, in the unlikely event that Pardoo or substantially all of Pardoo’s assets are acquired, your Personal Information may be one of the transferred assets. It is Pardoo’s practice to seek appropriate protection for information in these types of transactions. 

6. Providing Personal Data to other entities in the Corporate Group

You consent to your Personal Data being provided to other entities within the Pardoo.com. The Privacy Policy will apply to any such group entities respectively.

7. Reviewing / Changing Personal Data

You may review your individual information in your “My Account” User Account at any time and insofar as necessary update such information after having logged in with your Pardoo User Name and Password.

Upon request, Pardoo will notify you at any time as to whether and what Personal Data in respect to your identity or your pseudonym has been stored by the Pardoo systems.

8. Deleting of Your User Account

You may delete or deactivate your Pardoo User Account and membership at any time. Upon deletion or deactivation, your Personal Data is removed from the Pardoo database, unless we are required to save the data for any of the reasons mentioned herein above. It may take two to three business days until your information is completely removed from all Pardoo records.

9. The Use of Cookies on our Website

Pardoo makes use of so-called "Cookies" features, meaning that files may be stored on your computer and that will help in customizing your experience with the Pardoo’s service.  A "cookie" is a small text file that may be used to collect information about web site activity. Most browsers allow you to control cookies, including whether or not to accept them and how to remove them. Please note that if you choose to erase or block cookies, you may need to re-enter a user ID or password to gain access to certain parts of our web site, as identified above.

10. Security

To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, to maintain data accuracy, and to ensure the appropriate use of your Personal Information, Pardoo utilize physical, technical and administrative procedures to safeguard the information Pardoo collect.

Among other things, we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption when collecting or transferring sensitive data, such as credit card information. SSL encryption is designed to make the information unreadable by anyone but us. This security measure is working when you see the symbol of either an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending on your browser) at the bottom of your browser window.

We also use firewalls and restricted access methods to ensure the security of the information we collect. We limit access to your Personal Information and data to those persons in Pardoo, or as agents of Pardoo, that have a specific business purpose for maintaining and processing such information. Pardoo’s employees who have been granted physical access to your Personal Information will be made aware of their responsibilities to protect the security, confidentiality and integrity of that information and have been provided training and instruction on how to do so.

The information contained in your “My Account” User Account, including your user Profile, is protected by your individualized User Name and Password. This security ensures that a third party cannot access your Personal Data or your User Account. You are not entitled to share your Password with any other person without prior written consent of Pardoo. Please notice that Pardoo will never ask you for your Password in emails or other correspondence you may receive unexpectedly.  

In your own interest, you should always log-out of your “My Account” User Account when you leave the Pardoo website, in particular when you access the service from a computer terminal at a public location.

Pardoo does not assume any liability for the abuse of log-in data and passwords used. 

11. Protection from Web Crawlers or Spam

To the best of its ability, Pardoo will prevent your e-mail address from being recorded by "web crawlers" or "web spiders". If you believe that your e-mail address has been recorded in this way, please kindly inform us promptly.

12. Changes to Privacy Policy

Pardoo may change its Privacy Policy from time to time. You should check the Privacy Policy frequently for changes.
