With a successful international marketing and commercial track record, Pardoo Beef Corporation chairman and owner Bruce Cheung decided in late 2014 to make an investment in the Western Australian beef industry.
After searching the world for a suitable location, the Pilbara was identified as the ideal place for a challenging initiative to capitalize on growing Asian demand for clean, healthy and traceable food products.
Pardoo Beef Corporation was formed to purchase Pardoo Station in 2015. The station forms the epicenter of a vision for the first purebred Wagyu community in Western Australia’s northwest.
It is a vision that will create a reliable, safe and secure supply of ultra-premium Wagyu beef for discerning domestic and Asian markets.
Pardoo Beef Corporation now trading as Pardoo Wagyu, is invested in the region and firmly believes in creating a purebred Wagyu product that will make the Pilbara proud.
Pardoo Beef Corporation is leading transformational change in the Pilbara to produce purebred Wagyu and high quality beef for domestic and international markets and bring jobs to the north. The Wagyu production hub is anticipated to contribute $3billion to the WA economy and 1900 additional jobs by 2031.
